Preacher
Well, not yet. The office for Uttaradit is still in Nan. But I went to Nan-immigration yesterday and they told me that in about 6 months the immigration office in Uttaradit will open. They already told me about that last year. But now they could also tell me it would be located at Uttaradit Radjapad University, so in town. (But maybe only temporary, before they get their own office). Seemed more serious as last year as the immigration officer I spoke told me he was considiring transferring to Uttaradit when that office would open. Will save a few hours travelling for a few of us living in Uttaradit.

Eddy B
It makes sense to do this. Every province should have its own immigration office just like they have their own police stations as this is what they are calling themselves. If it saves a 7-8 hour round trip it once or even twice a year it can only be a good thing.
