Broken screen on Samsung Galaxy TAB3 10.1 inch

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

My sister is visiting next week from Belgium. She recently dropped her a.m. tablet and the glass of the screen is broken.

She asks if it could be repaired here (I'm in Pattaya) more cheap than in Belgium where the repair would cost nearly as much as a new one, plus

it would take nearly a month.

Any ideas for a good repair shop that could handle this (have heard that the Samsung center is useless) ?

Thanks beforehand

Try a computershop as "ADVICE". In my town they do repairs and not too expensive.

Is "ADVICE" the name of a computer shop ?

I would check out tukcom. I am sure they will be able to help.

If you're in Bangkok, there are shops on the 4th floor of Phantip where I've seen screens being repaired. Can't say what the price is but I could ask tomorrow if you like.

Thanks, no I'm in Pattaya. But anyway If you would be so kind to give me a price idea, that would help to decide whether to bring the tablet or not.

No one knows of a specific shop in Tukcom that would do this kind of repair ?

Thanks again

Google Translate or Chrome Browser.

But a lot will still remain in Thai because they're graphic images.

Typical for most Thai websites.

I checked the price of replacing the screen of a Galaxy Tab 3 at Phantip today and was quoted 4,500. That could certainly be bargained down.

A DIY job according to this article

but not for the faint-hearted.
