Suthep blasts Chalerm's remark of secession just a political rhetoric

Reds continue to provoke and call for sedition :

Suporn Attawong would form an army of 600 000 person from only north and northeaster

I don't see anything about sedition in that line. Why are you trolling?

And how is this any different from Suthep's call for a "People's Army" in December 2013?

Look front line of BP you'll see

I'm not think it's just for call for only protest, a tactical training during one month is not for picking flower

I did. In fact, I read the entire article a few hours ago even before that line was posted here.

I read it again just now but again see nothing about sedition.

He wants to give them 'tactical training'. I'm sure that's all peaceful. whistling.gif

I don't understand some of the intellectually challenged reds. They call Suthep a fascist but seem to ignore that the UDD wants to train their own army. I'm sorry but in history, which party had their own personal army again? And some idiot actually had the cheek to call Suthep Hitler.rolleyes.gif

We already have an armed Suthep militia running around Bangkok with heavy weapons. How is that any different?

Or does Suthep have a special "militia permit" ?

A small armed militia that's there because the government has done nothing to curb the daily attacks made on the protestors. You think anyone is going to stand getting shot at and bombed daily and not defend themselves?

And really? Are your glasses so red that you would compare a small militia against the few hundred thousand the UDD plans to train? You really don't see anything wrong with the UDD plans to have 600,000 strong 'tactically trained' army? You little people cry about Suthep and the PRDC being 'fascists' and you don't see recognise what the UDD with their army plan to do?

Suthep and his supporters want a country without Shinawatra influence involved. Only a person who's so blind and who's drunk so much red kool aid would actually have the nerve to compare what Suthep has said to the reds wanting secession. It's kind of expected from the reds and their apologists really. The other side is always evil but when their own do and say something much worse, it's okay! clap2.gif

I understand that some people may want that, but why force that ideology upon others?

The 2011 election has clearly shown that a majority of the votes wanted a country WITH Shinawatra influence. Or do the opinions of those people not mean anything to you?

Nobody's forcing anything on others. If people aren't happy about what Suthep's doing, they can exercise their right to protest. Just don't be like the red shirts and say they want to secede and form their own country. whistling.gif

I have no problem with people protesting.

I have a problem with Suthep blocking streets and inconveniencing others, financially damaging the Thai economy and companies that are not owned by Thaksin, running an armed militia on the streets of Bangkok, detaining people at his will, shooting at people who take wrong turns on the streets, beating up taxi drivers who want to drive through the blockades, etc. I could go on for another 40 lines but I am sure you know very well that this is not just a "right to protest".

Right to protest? Yes.

Overthrowing an elected government and suspend Democracy and replace it with a people's council? No thanks

I don't believe a word you say…Please supply links?

Wow so glad I am in Pattaya, as I would have little desire to live in Thaksinland.

I wonder what all the upcountry farangs are thinking right now.....

We're thinking "wow, so glad i am upcountry, as i would have little desire to live in Pattaya" - or BKK.

When you are living in a country with no great wealth and many farmers demanding subsidies, you may well change your mind. I imagine that "rich farangs" might seem to be an irresistable source of tax revenue.

Isaan-Lanna ? The two seem to have very little in common, one being ethnic Burmese/Chinese and the other Laotian. Thaksinites should scratch Isaan out after screwing the farmers.

Yes I was thinking exact same thing. I lived in Chiang Mai for 6 years, and have traveled extensively in Isan. I see very little to link the two areas, except for Thaksin somehow claiming them.....

The common link is probably that a majority of the people from these regions support Thaksin's policy of appeasement as giving them some recognition and oppose the Democrat's repeated ridicule of Thaksin supporters as village bumpkins unable to think for themselves?
