Those that have found the "right" partner for now, thats great, enjoy it, love it, respect it,but dont ever take it for granted because it can all change very quickly as I feel sure many agree and have experienced.

So, to answer the OP its "Mrs Right now" a lady I have found 3 times and for now its just great, the future, one can only work to hope it continues, as long as both sides want it, it will prevail.

I think the deal is:

1. Divide your own age by 2;

2. Add 7.

Actually arrived in Thailand from a recent divorce, so finding Ms. Right was never that important and did not come here to go with a bunch of other ladies, although I have had an attitude adjustment on this particular issue. ..not really no, we use this thing called condoms.

Then we use birth control (the pill) when we know our partners (and us) are STD free.

Then if there is a mutual desire as a couple to be parents, and we know we can likely provide a good stable environment for a child, we stop using birth control...and get pregnant.

I met my beautiful wife in a restaurant, when we ended up sitting at the same table. We exchanged numbers and had a couple of friendly dinners together...eventually made it to the Amphur.

A lot of travel in Asia and Australia happened between lunch and Amphur and we learnt to trust and rely on each other. I think that travelling to places that neither of use had ever been too was a great way to discover each others personality. Getting lost, missing boats and getting to the airport 2 hours early to find out the flight was already boarding gave us a chance to learn each others reactions when things aren't going to plan or when one of us made a mistake.

I met my wife after I had been here 6 months, we dated for almost a year then went for it, marriage, babies. We now have 4 kids together and now married for 12 years. We are 18 years apart and have as great a relationship today as we had when we were dating. We have a very involved life raising our children together. Honestly I couldn't possibly live without her and I think while she could live without me, it would be horrible for her.
