PATTAYA:--Just before 4am on Thursday Nongprue Police were called to a golf course which is currently under construction following reports of an armed robbery .

Two security guards working for the Chubb Company, Khun Boontum aged 48 and Khun Jaed aged 55 were on-duty at the Siam Country Club Waterside Development. They described how 6 men arrived in a Bronze Isuzu D-Max Pick-up, just after 2am, and concealed their faces with balaclavas.

Two of the men were armed with knives and ordered the men to drop to the floor. Their hands were bound together and they were then tied to a tree while the other 4 men raided containers full of valuable construction materials.

The estimated value of stolen items is thought to be over 1 Million Baht
