Yes it was rather dumb, participially that you switched three times the tense throughout the story. A creative writer normally maintains a narrative flow by either sticking to a present or a past tense as a certain literary subjectivity unfolds. Trying to combine the comical and factual is like riding two horses at the same time. It surely can done... First time after more than a half of the 2 hours, my Masseuse suddenly ran out of steam,and decided she would rather cuddle up to me,than carry on exerting herself.Sorry to say nothing happened,we both fell asleep!
