Pawn shops in Pattaya

Featured Replies

Will be in Pattaya soon to buy pawned jewelries, mainly neck chains and bracelets 14-18 k gold,

can any TV member recommend the best and biggest pawn shops for such items?

People love 23 karat gold in Thailand.Um anything lower they tend to say it's not real. You should be able to find as far as rings go.

Most of the settings are 14 and 18k,I think. Not sure where the pawn shops are in Pattaya.Just ask around you'll find them

New 'Easy Money' Shops - a big chain from Bangkok and beyond.

1st one on Sukhumvit just south of Pattaya Klang (heading south) look for the big red building with 6ft high red neon numbers on left (east) showing price for 1b pawn gold.Just past Nachon Chai Air Bus station.

2nd one on Pattaya 3rd Rd opposite the old Hollywood disco site (roughly LK Metro area in soi Buckhow half way between Pattaya Rd South and Pattaya Klang) again look for the big red building with 6ft high red neon numbers.

Besides them there hundreds of 'Gold' shops etc.

Are prices usually interesting ?

It's depend on where you look, right now,14K gold scarp metal value are at $ 25 per gram,

while 18K is value at $ 32....

this is more or less what the pawn shop will give you if you selling, however, I have seen

said neck chains and bracelets going at double and triple of the above worth,

now I'd like to check prices in Pattaya and see what they're asking....
