Good for Yingluck in standing up to the insurrectionist Suthep and his neo-fascist PDRC. The future of democracy in Siam depends on this kind of tenacity.

The alternative is a future of coups, military rule and further oppression of the mass of Siamese people by the elites - taking us back to the pre-1932 situation.

What democracy ? They haven't got there yet and probably never will when they discover that when democracy finally arrives all snouts get removed from the trough

Make no mistake.

Cheers

If you spread a falsehood, knowing it's a falsehood, it's a mistake, but not an honest one.

You should take your own advice.

lets get the army on the streets and have done with this nonsense - everyone with a brain knows exactly what went on with this government - lets put a stop to the kindergarden and get some normality back into Thailand for all the people - Thaksin has been toxic for the past 10 years -

Suthep is trying his best to remove the blight - I have no faith in either one of them but I do know that IMO Thaksin has raped the Thai people long enough, he is a disease that sits by his swimming pool in Dubai orchestrating death squads and murder, the man is evil and he pays millions of Dollars that came from his corrupt regime in Thailand and the good Thai people to fuel his power and hatred - the shin name should be surgically removed like a wart from this society, it is an absolute disgrace that this has been allowed to continue for so long

The good people of Thailand deserve better - if only they could see

Another one who likes the Gen Pinochet solution.

and there we have the solution man with his one liner garbage

The truth is that although there have been many coups in Thailand none of them have been because of some crackpot general trying to seize power - they have all been to remove some crackpot government that abused power and stole money from the people - This time around PTP takes the all time prize

If the army had stepped in when they needed too we would still have over 20 people still alive and two little girls sleeping in their beds

you are indeed a sick man, it's time TV did a rinse followed by a 1500 spin and got rid of the multiples with the same IP

I prefer to do some quoting as my response to OTT posts.

"Fascism seeks to build a mass movement of everyone considered part of the

national community, actively engaged but controlled from above, to seize

political power and remake the social order. This movement is driven by a

vision of the national community rising phoenix-like after a period of

encroaching decadence which all but destroyed it. Such rebirth involves

systematic, top-down transformation of all social spheres by an

authoritarian state, and suppression or purging of all forces, ideologies,

and social groups the fascists define as alien."

Smedley, you are obviously are not capable of accepting that any of us hold different views to you. You are also an enthusiast for the army on the streets, and no doubt eradicating what you see as a toxic influence upon this country.

It is particularly interesting that you would like to purge Thai Visa of our toxic influence, perhaps as a mirror of your hopes for an army led political cleansing campaign?

You make Pinochet look like a limp wristed liberal!

But then you probably regard that as a compliment.
