very cheap, don't bother looking on internet there is plenty of cheap hotels in -central- Satun but not much to do there..

when i was down there a few months ago was talking with an expat in a restaurant. He lives there an pays 4,000 baht for a 2 bedroom house out of town,

says it gets very boring thou. :-)

my wife is from Satun. Just showed her this post and she agreed with it. Said you can get a decent 2 bed house for cheaper than 4000 though.
