Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra on Monday morning held a meeting with economic ministers at the Royal Police Cadet Academy in Nakhon Pathom.

The academy is the latest in a long line of venues that the premier has used as her office since the protesters started their rallies near Government House. The others have included the Royal Thai Police headquarters, the Army's Club, the Office of the Permanent Secretary of Defence, the Royal Thai Air Force Command and its auditorium.

The meeting was expected to focus on the problem of declining investors' confidence due to political instability, said a source who asked not to be named said. Many ministers joined the meeting.

Well it took little time for you to comment,obviously a lover of the head of the red shirts, pawns of the rural elite.

These were the only former ministers in attendance ? This was a cabinet meeting ? Let one guess - minister of agriculture - that's Nattawut. At this meeting did the question come up about his involvement in the secession rally ? Did the former prime minister throw him out of the room ? And by chance was Nuttawut's involvement put forth as a possible impediment to foreign investment ? Of course not. This was the latest attempt to somehow convince that this was a functioning government. It is a former administration and it fools no one.

It's nice the caretaker government is still doing something, like discussion the economical situation as left to suffer because they tried to push through that blanket amnesty bill. Still waiting for an explanation why the first to years of Yingluck needed to be covered as well. It does suggest a certain lack of governing.

Yingkuck would be asking questions into why the rice pledging scam was such a flop, I do suppose these so called Economic Ministers are the one's that would have recommended this botched scheme, receiving advise from these cowboys is akin to suicide of the wallet , something like the high Speed rail, in yer dreams

She is discussing the investment shift to Vietnam and Indonesia. That's probably where her and big brothers money will be going soon,get on the train before its to late.

Well, once one has come to the conclusion that the best for Thailand would be the stepdown of Ms. Yingluck, any other actions of her will meet with disdain.

It would seem that Ms. Yingluck has done more 'work' (on the election campaign trail) the last two months than in the total of more than two years before. In the mean time the NSC is considering to lift the SoE because private companies asked which suggests that ongoing anti-government protests are seen as bothersome rather than democratic by some.

Given that she's up before the courts and under threat of the sack of even jail I would be asking a lot more pointed questions than that.... like <deleted> has been going on and why does nobody ever tell her anything.

That's always assuming that she's really is just her brother's patsy of course.

I wonder if they were discussing the outstaning ecomic success of her rice scheme. Between economic experts and all .

Your wait is over! What is being governed? A meeting? To discuss potential investors worries? Oh and in the mean time where does the Thai people fit into this meeting or discussion.
