Ex-husband surrenders to Bangkok police after shooting his wife dead

Featured Replies

So he has confessed to murder but not been charged with that. Are reporters not allowed to ask questions?

Investigative journalism....there is very little here in Thailand and no..they cannot ask questions for fear of intimidation.

Their editors are also fearful.....

RTFP before you reply.

very sad, my heart goes out to her family, especially her kids who may have to live without their mother or father.

How on earth can your heart go out to people you do not know, have never seen and never will know? Too much of this sentimental twaddle of my sympathy blah blah on the internet. Well meaning, but very silly.

It's called empathy. Something unique to human beings but, apparently, not all of us.

it seems so easy to get a gun in this country .... coffee1.gif

..and much easier to use it..

Shoot now and think of the consequences later.

Typical thai behaviour.

Yeah, sure. There are no crimes of passion, no "shoot now, think of the consequences later" in the west, eh?

What is even more scary is the reporting of the incident. He admits to the murder but is charged only with carring a weapon

And THE NATION wants you to respect their newsreporting

Perhaps the Nation just expects people that peruse their articles or buy newspapers to be able to read. Once again for the visually impaired!

The very first sentence

The ex-husband of a woman found dead with a gunshot wound to the back of the head in a Ramkhamhaeng University parking lot yesterday morning has been charged with murder after surrendering to police and confessing to the killing.

And the last sentence

Chansak has also been charged with illegally carrying a gun with ammunition in public.

Is 10 am too early for you guys or is there a nation-wide coffee shortage wink.png There are only 9 lines in the OP, not exactly a 400 word article to wade through.

Give him a break! That's whole 7 lines later.

That's a long time to hold a thought. . . .
