KHON KAEN, March 13 - Caretaker Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra said on Thursday that she is ready to follow the Constitution Court's ruling on the Bt2 trillion infrastructure development projects, as the anti-government movement demanded that she take personal responsibility for the case.

Ms Yingluck responded after the Constitutional Court yesterday ruled unanimously that her government's Bt2 trillion loan bill is unconstitutional, reasoning that the whole drafting process at its core is unlawful.

The judges also ruled 6:2 that the bill is unlawful because some lawmakers voted on behalf of others who were absent from the parliamentary session.

The caretaker premier said she is ready to follow the court's decision but will have to look through the details of the ruling. Caretaker Deputy Premier Pongthep Thepkanchana and caretaker Minister to the Prime Minister's Office Varathep Rattanakorn will oversee the legal matters before informing the public of the government's next move.

"The government urges sympathy from all parties as it has good intentions to work and does not want to see any exploitation of law or organisations for political gain," said the caretaker premier.

Following the move of the opposition Democrat Party to impeach the cabinet, Ms Yingluck said society will not be peaceful if the Democrats still use the law to attack the opposite side every day.

Meanwhile, the People's Democratic Reform Committee (PDRC) urged the caretaker premier to take responsibility following the court's ruling by resigning from her post.

PDRC spokesman Akanat Promphan said that Ms Yingluck's resignation will push the country to move forward, adding that leaders of other countries usually resign from their post to when financial-related law fails to gain approval. (MCOT online news)

She is on the ropes and no matter what her script tells her to say the legal system has made its judgement .Regarding the comments from her or in truth her puppet master concerning other parties going to law should not this creature ask why her fellow puppet company members wish to consult the law and use the current legal process for their own ends.

Well of course we all also or rather Yingluck should understand ''that one only gets punished for being caught.'' Or sadly in her case being a patsy for her odious brother.

If she obey the law the Democrats would not be able to attack her with the law every day.

I was just going to say exactly the same laugh.png

If she doesn't break the law, she would not be attacked for breaking the law.

Oh! but she comes from election! giggle.gif

Its just so obviously simple that even young children know that if they break the rules they are going to be in trouble and its the same for adults even more so.

Herself and her brother are bringing cases against others as many times as a baby needs to be cleaned per day, and she claims the Dems are using the law to attack her everyday.

Isn't that why there are Laws????

Has she just had a sip of Chalerm's ear drops????

so PTP are guilty, but the charges were politically motivated?

What's next, "Everybody does it, why pick on us?"

Yes soon it will come...but Suthep is also corrupt.....this always comes as excuse when the Shinawatras did something corrupt.

This is actually true, and the truth of the matter is that Yingluck and Pheu Thai know that they are in a vulnerable position here. They know that based upon the court's ruling that the bill was unconstitutional, that impeachments proceeding could follow. It is something Pheu Thai would do at the drop of a hat if the situation were reversed. And yet, such an action would be entirely justified.

good luck yingluck its all the yellas and power against democracy

Democracy?.... where??

Yingluck and her entire cabinet are in the dock on several fronts which are ALL linked to breeches of democracy.

Yrs, we 'yellas' HATE democracy, when it is this style of democracy.

Dictatorship would even be a better than this pathetic system of what you lot call 'democracy'...... now give it a rest, do some reading on the true principles of democracy.

Come back when you have read it. Then try to explain your comment.

She's willing to follow the court ruling? That's very magnanimous coming from someone who has no choice.

Be careful. She has a track record of saying things that don't happen. Vows to make payments, says the Amnesty Bill won't return, etc etc etc.

There is already a "but" in her statement. PTP have to study the verdict - just in case there is some way they can spin this and weasel out of it. They ain't gonna give up the chance of getting their hands on 2.2 trillion baht so easily.

Easy to see why the Amnesty Bill was so important to them - all the cheating and lies simply rubbed clean and a very big pot of money to do with as they pleased.

There brainwashed red shirt faithful will claim it's all part of the judicial conspiracy against the popular people's party. They really believe that PTP are honest - poor souls.
