Homemade bomb found in train at Hua Lampong

BANGKOK: -- A homemade bomb was found Friday morning abroad a Lop Buri-Bangkok train which was under maintenance services at the Hua Lampong railway station, police said.

Pol Lt Col Prayoon Ritkul, chief investigator of the Railway Police Division, said the bomb was found by maintenance workers at 9:00 am.

It was hidden inside a ventilation of a toilet room on the train.

The bomb was made of explosives stuffed inside a four-inch long and one-inch-diametre pipe.

Prayoon said a teenager might make it to attack his opponents but hid it in the train when he saw a police officer coming close to him.
