Penang and KL no longer do multiple entry non-o visas based upon marriage.

Your only choice is the consulate in Savannakhet Laos.

You could also get a 60 day extension to visit your wife on the date your job ends to give you more time to switch jobs.

Are you aware you could of gotten an extension of stay based upon marriage instead of one for working. You can work on this extension. You can use your income from working it it is 40K baht or more to get it. This extension would go away if you were to loose your job.

Please be aware that the days of optaining a multi entry non-o visa at the consuls/embassys are numbered.

In the near future it will not be possible any more to get a multi entry non-o visa except for the non-oa retirement visa at the embassy.

Only single non-o visa's will be issued and a year extension has to be done in Thailand.

The date that this comes into force for this is not clear at this stage but it will be propable not take very long.

Predictions like yours appear all the time and none have come true.

For non-o visas based upon retirement they have tightened the requirements and made it very difficult to get without financial proof.

Non-o visas based upon marriage or having a Thai I don't think they will eliminated ever because they are done for humanitarian reasons and affect Thais, Even where those based upon retirement are no longer done they are still available for marriage or having a Thai child.

Kl was asking for 400k baht in the bank before stopping altogether after the visa sticker fiasco. Penang stopped because of a mandate from KL.

In the absence of a named Consulate and Consular Official this information is "hearsay" at best.

I think you talk a lot of bullshit, no evidence "friend of a friend" and I do think you make it up, you are just a scaremonger and people should not take any notice of your posts

Are we a little bit sensitive :-)

Luckily i don't care what you think.

I received the information from a well known Thai consul in Europe.

And it is up to you if you believe or not as time will tell.
