Are Lek and Charlie still in business at the Beach Road end of Soi 7?

Will be visiting soon.

No mate. They left for Uthai Thani (or possibly Chainat - (somewhere up that way) where Lek was going to run a Christian Charity Centre of some sort, after she became Born Again a few years ago. They left about 2 or so years ago.

Shame really as it was always nice to drop in and catch up with some of the gang.... I was lucky enough to catch them a few days before they left and it knocked me sideways as I thought they'd never leave but Charlie said it was a lovely place with views of the hills into Tak plus plenty of good walking for him and the dogs, plus I think he was getting to the end of his tether in Pattaya ...

Cheers guys.

Sorry to have missed them now, never mind.

You saved me a trip down Soi 7 looking for them, my wife will be sad.

I reckon Charlie gave it a good go, better resolve than me to keep runing (or helping to run) a bar in Pattaya for years on end).

It was the music that attracted me there, plus the fact you could have a drink without constantly being harassed for buying drinks.

First met them when they had a small outside bar on your right, heading down on Soi 7, the music selection was terrific. I also contributed to Charlies music collection with various discs I had made over the years.

Thanks for the info, perhaps Lek bar is in hands of a new owner now.
