ll2
k speed has manufactured sliders for honda cbr5650f and cb650f. But they look so flimsy and thin and only one mount point. Still, will go for a track day this weekend so they are better than nothing. http://www.k-speed.net/product.detail_1055880_th_5914408 Price is 2200 thb but sure can buy it at 2000 thb as i know them from before and buy thing from their shop. So, buy or bye? please comment, thanks.
NomadJoe
We need to know how much a set of replacement fairings are before we know if this is a wise investment. On the Kawasaki it was far better to go without. Sliders are much more likely to make the bike hop and roll causing more damage than without. Better to just replace the fairings. But will cost you double than the slider for sure. Buy or bye?
ktm jeff
Do they slide , or dig in and cause bike to flip or twist frame?.Agree , engine parts more than plastics -BUY !.
KRS1
sliders should be made of delrin, most in thailand are made of abs...no metal on the edge please.
H1w4yR1da
What make are they? Reputable or one of the many Chinese/Taiwanese knockoff this shop carries? Ah, just re-read your post. K-Speed made them. Made in Thailand? I'd pass. Unfortunately, quality parts are hugely overpriced here. I'd buy online. But had to buy K Speed ones as nothing was available that time before the track day. Moth racing has rearsets too but these look much more better as well. Next step will be getting a pipe and a rearset. Possibly next month before the track day on 3rd of May. thanks mania.
JonnyF
^ Those rearsets look good, definitely a mod worth doing IMO.
