Job For Us?

Featured Replies

Hi!

We are a young couple in 21(girl) and 24(boy) years old from Norway that are moving to Cha- Am next year. If you know of any good job for us, please let us know. We speak very good Englis and Norwegian of course... :o We can teach, write and stuff like that. We can also work in restaurant, bars etc. All jobs that are seriouse would we be interessting in.

Send us a PM //email removed//

Thanks! :D

Frankly, you haven't got the tinyest chance with those background skills. Teaching Norwegian is the better of those, but who want to learn Norwegian in Thailand? There are absolutely no (legal) jobs in Thailand for foreigners without high level education or long term experience in a specialised field.

Did not mean that we were interessted in teaching Norwegian, but English! Why be so negative? I was just asking... but thanks anyway...

... Well - actually, I didn't mean to be anything but informative - getting a job in Thailand is tougher, than most westerners would think. ... However, if you do have a proper and documentable teacher's education and documentable teaching experience (slightly possible for boy, but not girl), boy might have a chance getting a job (now, that I know the missing 'h' in English, wasn't but a typo).

edit// --- and all the other mispellings are also nothing but hasty typos, I suppose?

Hi ,

I think Rishi gave a good advise (but you took it the negative way)....also you never mentioned if you have any skills ...vocational Collage or anything. I know it is difficult with this age to have....but not impossible(with age 21 i was doing my 3rd year in a Foreign Country) . Perhaps you're into diving and go for Diving Instructor- but then it is best if you are in Phuket or Samui ... ? English Teaching is an option , but not sure how good your English is - is it really good enough for teaching?

rcm :o

My English skills arren`t good enoguh to teach at college but maybe in high school... Anyway, it`s not only teaching we are looking for... We got enough money to live in Thailand for a year with no income, but it`s pretty boring not to have any job...
