barrybankruad
I own one (or rather my wife does). They're OK for rural towns and villages. Cost 5K baht for the basic sidecar (saleng in Thai) or 7K baht with a canopy. Great for carrying goods. The police here don't care if you carry people. thequietman
The shame of it all. At least get her a yaris or something. She has a car. But its not practical for what she wants to do. willyumiii
I had one built and installed for 6000 baht. Love it and use it everyday. Warning.... It will bend the frame ( or maybe forks) of your bike and if you take it off steering the bike becomes a little awkward. Driving long distances is a little more fatiguing. The side car, or salang as it is called, pulls to the left and you have to compensate by pulling a little to the right . I have used mine to haul lumber, bamboo, animals and every day items like groceries. If you have a real need for one, get one..if not, don't! P.S. pretty fun on sonkran if loaded up with water balloons! Edited March 31, 2014 by willyumiii
Bluetongue
About 5k fitted plus electrics here, roof would be extra, millions of them for sale at the roadside on highway 317 as well as the push carts usually, On its own about 3.5k. I'm getting one for farm use and an excuse to buy a new motorbike for myself. Wouldn't take it further than about 5km on the roads though
