Good, honest mechanic wanted

A 35 year old bike is going to need more than just giving the carbs a once over. Even if the engine doesn't need a rebuild all the brake/clutch/fuel lines and probably brakes, not just pads will need to be changed. If safety is any concern to you. That's not mentioning tires wiring etc. Unless it is a labour of love and you want to ride around like a cop. Pass it on to some other mug and buy something new.

have to agree ,restoring a bike that age will cost more than its worth in money and heartaches

something will always be about to break and spare parts will be few and far between and expensive

35 years in thailand is not good for a bike anyway ,god knows how many somchai style repairs have

been used to keep it running for this long ........if its still running that is

unless you want a hobby id give it a miss ............
