Microsoft Office for iPad - in app store Thailand ?

Featured Replies

hi there

Microsoft Office for iPad already released via the App Store on Mar 27, US time. yet I am not able to locate it in the App Store, perhaps in Thailand.

is Office for iPad available in Thai App Store ?

if not, any work-around ?

thanks for any ideas . . .

The search function in the iTunes Store sucks... Type in "Microsoft Office for iPad"

The work around I have been using for ages is CloudOn. You link it to a dropbox / Skydrive / Google Drive account and you can create / open / edit Excel, Word and PowerPoint files. I'm pretty sure it was free too.

Do you have a link that explains more clearly on how this is done rather than the above? Thanks

I think he means editing the Excel/Word/PowerPoint in the cloud via html5/java/javascript/etc, not in an app on the device.

Google docs.google.com = drive.google.com

Microsoft office.com/start/default.aspx

Microsoft onedrive.com = onedrive.live.com/about/en-us/

thanks guys, share some progress here :

- been using web-based Office app for awhile, not productive due to slow internet connection

- not found 'Microsoft Office for iPad' in App store. found immediately in iTune, but redirected back to App Store. same result, not listed in App Store.

- friend of mine with home country Apple ID, found and downloaded Word, Excel and PowerPoint apps

- swapped his Apple ID into my iPad, immediately warned of switching away from App Store Thailand. in the home country App Store, indicated both apps were downloaded

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

so, I guess Microsoft for iPad not in APP STORE THAILAND yet.

work around - need an Apple ID from my home country.
