Well, I'm pretty sure she could be removed by the courts, if they wanted to do that. They did it with Samak Sundarevej. They did it with Somchai Wongsawat. I don't think any of the courts want to take the heat they would surely get. Yet. That could change if the military decided to take a more active role and promised to suppress the inevitable demonstrations. They don't seem to be willing to go that far. Yet. Their original plan seems to be working too slowly. I wonder how much longer their financiers are willing to wait.
