I need to do a few jobs in my condo; fit a couple of doors, new blinds, a couple of walls etc. but don't know how to find a decent company/contractor to do this. I don't want some arty-farty interior designer, as there is no designing to be done!!

Zat iz not zee question....... how to find a good one ! My condo took 7 months, and I basically had to be there every 2nd day....... made them re-do the piping on the bath tub 3x, sink 2x, shower 5x ( re-do = nock away the wall, and re-do pipes, and re-seal...... ).

had to pull out all electrical switches and plugs and screw the wires tight, as all the wires were just dangled in the holes ( no screw tightend )

How about hallogen lights in the sealing in the mirror image of the drawing ( boy genius held the drawing upside down while installing )...and the list goes on.

Can laugh about it now, my friend is not..... he has regular leaks and needs to break down his walls for repair regularly....

Price was good though.... and with tons of supervision, verbal jousting, and holding back of some $$$, finally got it done to my satisfaction.

We took the guys who did our building works in the Hoose in Sam Prat up to do the same in the But & Ben in Chiang Mai....but I did the electrical.....thats different......Wots an earth rod khun T..?

Wife has even suggested trying to get "em some Visas and bring them over here to the Smoke for a "holiday"....need a new shower fitted and I hate tiling.....

If you bought the condo using a real estate broker, give them a call. You can also speak with the condo management. Arty farty they are not.
