When I started having chest pains, lower back pain, muscle spasms, TMJ (Google it) and insomnia at 32 years old (no exercise, high-stress job), I knew it was time for a major lifestyle change. After joining a local fitness club in my home country, my symptoms disappeared within weeks, and I've enjoyed good health since.

Today, in my mid-sixties, I'm stronger than I was in college days (double the number of pushups, pull-ups, sit-ups, etc.!), and I brought the lifestyle with me to Thailand. Even though living upcountry and in a tropical climate brings new challenges to a strenuous exercise routine, it's still worth the effort/hassle, in my opinion. I still climb mountains, water ski and snow ski (when visiting my home country), swim, snorkel, and other similar activities. I enjoy good health and feel full of life and energy nearly every day.

Just curious if I'm in the majority or minority among fellow expats. I probably spend more time as a keyboard warrior than I should, like many of you. But I wonder how many tear themselves away from the PC long enough to keep their bodies in good shape. I offer this poll to satisfy that curiosity and see what others are doing in LOS.
