It is prescription only in Thailand and only Cialis brand is available which makes it costly (whereas there are locally made generic equivalents to Viagra) and hence not so widely used.

Your best bet is to see a doctor at a local hospital both for script and the med.

Hmm, this response is difficult, understanding that I am having a beer waiting for the Liverpool game. Let's try however. What do women think of such things a Viagra? Well from my perspective not a lot, and although I have a loving wanted wife, I am 65, she is twenty years younger. Yes she is educated, yes she is a Chinese business lady, and yes she is conservative AND Chinese as previously stated.

She has asked me not to indulge with the little blue pill as it's not natural and health damaging, but she like millions or maybe billions of women world wide probable thinks that her partner, husband, taking such is not capable of allowing his body to perform naturally and reacting to her supposed charms ! In other words needs stimulation to perform with her. Surely this insults the loved one and is sure to create issues which includes lack of confidence from the woman.

Of course taking a hooker for the night, and paying her off after your Viagra induced wham bang thank you ma'am is a different ball game if you don't stray.

There are more than two sides to every story.

Beware of "Cialis" or the generic "Apcalis" sold on the streets of Bangkok or any of the local pharmacys. Genuine CIALIS is made with Tadalafil as the primary active ingredient,

Viagra and it's clones contain Sildenifil Citrate as the active ingredient.

Most of the "Cialis" and Apcalis sold at anywhere but the reputable chain pharmacy's such as BOOTS actually contain Sildenifil Citrate...same as the Viagra clones, just molded and colored to look like genuine Cialis.

Both Viagra and Cialis are likely to give you a headache because of the way they work.. It is a known side-effect. Drinking plenty of water to avoid dehydration can help. Definitely avoid alcohol.

Ask yourself if you really need them. If you do, see a urologist to get a prescription. OTC pharmacies are full of fakes.

Not only are OTC drugs often fake, it is illegal to purchaser OTC and peopel have been arrested and/or shaken down by police for doing so. Sometimes there are actual "sting" operations wherein police wait near places known to sell (oftten fake) V and C to farang.

In addition, there are solid medical reasons why the drugs are prescription only. They can be dangerous top people with certain health problems and, unfortunately, these are often the same conditions that can underlying ED. So prior screening by a physician to be sure use is safe, is important. However enjoyable one may find their effect, these drugs are definitely not candy.

SIDEGRA is a Thailand manufactured Viagra copy (Sildinifil Citrate) now available in most local pharmacys for less than B200 for a pack of 4. Even my very straight local pharmacy in Phra Khanong sells it OTC for B160. Available in 50 & 100 mg strengths.

I'm 70 and without it, it just isn't going to happen. It's not a medical condition, the body simply stops producing whatever it is that causes the blood to do it's job.

These very helpful blue pills undoubtedly prevent a far worse condition: siting in front of the TV all night watching the trash on True.

Curious what the generic version of Cialis says is the ingredient, Tadalafil or Sildenifil.

Always amuses me that Guys just seem to take this muck without any Medical Checks whatsoever !! I see people buying it off street sellers in Pattaya and despair at the stupidity of it !! Make a throwaway comment that what does your Doctor suggest and they look at you like a freak !!

Who the hell wants to take stuff that gives you headaches, hot flushes and God only knows what else ??

Already seen the doctor, he is happy for me to take the medicine. I wouldn't buy from the street, but try to buy from a pharmacy that looks reputable. The point of asking for apcalis is so I don't need to use viagra.

Have been taking Apcalis on occasion for the last 5 years, with no side-effects. Exept: Alcohol seems to lessen the intended effect of the drug. Apcalis can be purchased at most pharmacies in Pattaya without prescription. (Same goes for Antibiotics, by the way.)

So in real life, the only question of relevance would be: What are the risks for people with high blood pressure? Can't be much of a deal, because I have never read an article in "Pattaya-News" claiming that a Farang suffering from high blood-pressure dies in shower after having popped a Apcalis pill !

Cheers.

Apcialis (tadalafil) available in Thailand is a little cheaper than Cialis as the former is produced in India. Despite India's reputation for not being the best at QC in some areas of manufacturing, its pharmaceutical industry is in fact of a high standard. Where drugs here in LOS are found to be ineffective, it is may be that they are fakes. The Indian manufactured drugs are fine. They are cheaper because the Indian government - much to the chagrin of western pharmacuetical companies - does not play the patent game in the same way as the USA / Europe.

The only brand of tadalafil registered in Thailand is Cialis. I am niot aware of any locally made brands...so indeed something purporting to be that may well be a fake.

There are locally made brands of sildenafil, though - 3 different ones.

I have no doubt that you are correct re registration of drugs, and that Cialis is the officially sanctioned version of tadalafil that is available here in LOS. However, the Indian manufactured version of tadalafil - Apcialis - is also available at (ahem) selected pharmacies. It is somewhat cheaper than Cialis. I also have no doubt that there are many fakes of many popular drugs around, but experience of myself and others ;) has found that Apcialis from one local pharmacy in CM to be as effective as the registered Cialis.

I would hope that there are other pharmacies that similarly support Indian disregard for the extortionate patent restrictions that drive up the prices of many modern drugs. However, caution is of course required due to the potential of purchasing fakes.
