Once the online application is complete, you print it off and get the applicant to sign it. This is taken along with the supporting docs to the VAC.

Is it also a good idea to include a filled in vaf1a form (the PDF you can download and print) ?

Before doing the online application, I filled this in and it was a great reference when it came to doing the online application, but

the questions are not exactly the same as the online version (almost but not exactly). So I wonder if its worth including that also in the supporting docs?

Or will they just discard this since you have the online print out?

Why?

All the required information will be in the signed print out of the online form an the supporting documents.

Submitting a completed obsolete* paper version will serve no purpose.

*Only applicants in Cuba or North Korea use the paper form.
