So what do they call you?

"Eh Bug" ?

A word they put infront of your name, could be "Buck ____" e.g. Buck John

It's not really respectful, but if it's with close friends then it's quite normal/fine. Also that'd only be a word they'd probably only use if you're in Isaan.

If that doesn't sound like it, then post again with some more info regarding what you think the phonetic sounds like for your nickname (And which region of Thailand you're in, as it might not necessarily be Thai, it might be Isaan or Lanna etc).
