Foreign investment may do more than just stop flowing in,

it could also start flowing out

then, they are finished as they have nothing else to offer

oreign investment is already going elsewhere

China is licking its lips then, waiting for, or encouraging Thailand to fail.

Its well on its way now, the momentum will gain traction soon,

When I was at a few of the major hotels at the beginning of the protests, eating, they were near full,

now, they have been close to empty, in hotel terms, for over a few months,

layoffs are ahead across the service sector affacting vast communities,

all these people have bills that will start to go unpaid,

even the prostitutes and bar owners will feel this.

when the prostituts cant pay their bills, they leave their homes empty and leave

seems like many of the gov. officials are not there for the "official" pay check, its what they get off the books that motivates them.

Thank yo so much suthep. You have done a supper job of destroying a country and now you will have succeded in putting thousands out of work because of you arrogance. All this is on your head. because you can not and will not ever get elected (democraticaly) to run this or anyother country in the world.

You cannot put the blame on Suthep alone. He responded to the public revolution caused by the underhand amnesty for Thaksin.

Now I am just a foreign observer who wants the best for Thailand and it seems to me that whilst most Thai politicians are of the same charmless, deceitful ilk however you slice and dice it the country's problems all seem to revolve around one man.... and he doesn't even live here.

same as politicians everywhere
