May 7, 201412 yr If Scolari wins it, he will be a Hero If he comes second or worse, he will be fckd. ALL OR NOTHING. ( Are you listening Mr Wenger....fear of failure).
May 9, 201412 yr http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/12040/9302305/whoscoreds-England Interesting article. Not that I would have Carroll and Crouch in my squad.
May 9, 201412 yr If Scolari wins it, he will be a Hero If he comes second or worse, he will be fckd. ALL OR NOTHING. ( Are you listening Mr Wenger....fear of failure). Nah - hes not. Has the long term blind faith of the owners, unlike yours and 90% of the others with their rent-a-boss-for-the-moment mentality

May 9, 201412 yr Looks like Stones might get called up because of Jones and Caulker injury problems. Would be a good shout but I feel Woy isn't that adventurous!
May 9, 201412 yr Looks like Stones might get called up because of Jones and Caulker injury problems. stones? thought these injuries might lead to more momentum on board the john terry bandwagon.
May 9, 201412 yr I think JT is resigned to not going. BTW. I think I got me Caulker mixed up with me Walker. Lineker rates Stones, but what does that count for? http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/27321845
May 9, 201412 yr Mick Jagger at centre half and Keith Richards flying down the wing? Yep. Could do worse. Meatloaf in goal could be an option. If Carroll can perform Jumping Jack Flash against Citeh, might want to consider him? Not sure if it should be Lambert or Carroll tbh.
May 9, 201412 yr Mick Jagger at centre half and Keith Richards flying down the wing? Watts as the sweeper.
May 9, 201412 yr Author Several papers are saying Stones of Everton should go (along with Gay Lineker) I mean Gary is saying that too. Edited May 9, 201412 yr by uptheos
May 9, 201412 yr I'd only play Stones if he shaved his legs tbh. Bit of lubrication as well and you can avoid injuries. Sliding tackles just slide off. Sorted.
May 9, 201412 yr Author I'm waiting to see who Roy of the Rovers actually picks! I just hope he takes the youngsters.

May 9, 201412 yr I don't see too many old guard in your 23 ups. And tbh I don't see any other oldies that he could even consider taking. I'm hopeful he'll get it right and take the correct 23. I wouldn't put money on him getting the right starting 11 though. That will be the genius part.

Not in mine, but there's every possibility of him picking Lampard, Cole and Defoe not that we have great centre forward options. He likes Milner and probably Cleverley (not old guard) who is not good enough. May choose Carroll and play the long ball in the heat.

May 11, 201412 yr Author Chelsea's Ashley Cole has retired from international football after being left out of England's World Cup squad. Southampton left-back Luke Shaw, 18, will be included when England manager Roy Hodgson names his 23-man squad, plus seven standby players, on Monday. "I got the call from Roy and agree the England team should be about the young players. I think it best I retire from the England team now," said Cole. http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/27368711
May 12, 201412 yr Looks like Roy is going to do the smart thing and go young. I don't follow the England NT but I would expect most of their fans to be happy with the youth parade. Prepare for 2016, and the younger lads may even be more competitive in this WC than the old guard anyway.
May 12, 201412 yr Author Let us know hour Your 23 actually matched up to Roy of the Rovers squad when it's announced.
