Just as others have posted in the archived threads, I will add my testimony that the Coral Gables (Miami) FL honorary consulate is a good place to get a visa, if you happen to be near there. It's just a tiny single room law office, no Thai people. I was the only person there. As I sat there in the cramped office, all I could think of was Murrey Hewitt, the New Zealand honorary consul on Flight of the Conchords. It was much like that. :D

My visa was approved almost immediately, hand written. :) PM me if you want more details.
