Just as others have posted in the archived threads, I will add my testimony that the Coral Gables (Miami) FL honorary consulate is a good place to get a visa, if you happen to be near there. It's just a tiny single room law office, no Thai people. I was the only person there. As I sat there in the cramped office, all I could think of was Murrey Hewitt, the New Zealand honorary consul on Flight of the Conchords. It was much like that. My visa was approved almost immediately, hand written. PM me if you want more details.
