So lets get this straight, the opposition party who to date cant win anything is making conditions on its proposal being accepted first before agreeing to even take part ?

Suthep has made his opinion clear and wont allow any election whilst any Shinawat is in the country .

Still Good cop Mad cop routine.

Just stalling for time imo.

Removed some posts (and responses) that claimed others were paid to post. If you have any actual evidence please forward it to support. If it's just a lame debating tactic, further references like that may find you without posting rights.

Sorry Ahbisit, no one take you seriously and you really have no right to dictate the electoral process. You have turned your back on democracy and conspired with undemocratic forces twice and is someone who can't be trusted by the public. Show some sense of responsibily by resigning from the party to allow reform to be initiated.

I have lived here 15 years....never changes. The Dems bitch and moan but fail to put forth a candidate that All the People can believe in......the Bangkok Elites don't count as all the People.

Some policies and a positive vision would be nice also after months of negativity by Abhisit the blame game master

What negativity? Can you do anything other than call people names?

I agree it will be excellent to see/hear his proposal this week.

However, if he does run, and the Democrats do end up as a significant presence in parliament, then he is in a better position to be levered into power in due course. Don't laugh, it has happened before!

Sent from my Nexus 7 using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app

It's worth remembering what 'happened before'. 2007 election result was 233 PPP vs 165 Democrat, add in the third parties and Reds had a clear majority. We can see now from the Wikileaks, the military had its plan, the 'people's march, the military to guard them, even the wish to put Abhisit and Korn in power as a result. And so it happened, a 'yellow mob' appeared, and the military came to protect Bangkok from this mob (i.e. guard their 'peoples' mob), and that mob captured the airports and tried to make Thailand ungovernable to eject the elected government.

And they did, and they put Abhisit in power, and PPP was banned, and the protest began, because people wouldn't accept their trickery, and they had a massacre, and censorship to cover it up, and an investigation to call the protestors terrorists, and autopsies of only a tiny number of the people, and a stop on the DSI investigation. "It was cambodian gun men!".... "whose dead bodies were carried away in freezer trucks".... "hired by Thaksin to kill protestors".... liars.

And the next election, saw a swing to the new red party PT.

So now they want to repeat the cycle with the same tricks, only now it's 269 vs 159 and it's even more implausible, and yet they want to repeat the exact same tricks.

This time, the reds are already training their guards, and are already assembling their protestors, even before Abhisit backers try their coup.

he doesn't know the meaning of a free and fair election .all Eton taught him was using thuggery to get your own way .

Your hypocrisy is breathtaking !

Using thuggery to get your own way is exactly what PT are doing by threatening the NACC and by holding the country to ransom with the threat of the red militia coming and rioting again in Bangkok if the courts do their job properly and remove the useless lump Yingluck as they should...

As for Abhisit, you are very wrong about him. But your brainwashed sheeple bias clouds your judgement.
