April 30, 201412 yr I'm looking to get a full physical done in Chiang Mai. I'm especially interested in getting my vitamin levels tested, but I'd also like to check my blood pressure, cholesterol, etc etc. I found some labs that do blood work for various things, but I didn't find anywhere that would do vitamin levels. Thanks everyone.
April 30, 201412 yr All the hospitals will do blood tests and physicals, McCormick Hospital is one of the cheapest but you need to specify the individual tests. But very diificult indeed however to get a complete vitamin analysis, it's a US style technology that is not present in Chiang Mai, many tests are still sent to Bangkok and returned seven days later.

Thanks for your help. Do you mean that they don't do vitamin analysis in CM, or that they can do it but just have to send it to Bangkok?
April 30, 201412 yr It's easily possible to get specific tests done here, B12, zinc, follate etc, you simply need to know which individual test you want done. But when you say "vitamnin analysis" I presumed you were talking about the growing trend in the US (and elsewhere) to have a complete vitamin and mineral analysis work up done and I've not seen that offered anywhere - I've hada a number of individual tests done here over the past twelve months and a few of them were sent to Bangkok with the results available seven days later. So whilst CM does have pretty decent lab facilities here it does have its limits and in no way matches the facilities available in the US market. Perhaps try Sriphat Hospital for this since they have access to CMU labs.
