Corruption beyond comprehension is acceptable, bombing and shooting protesters to death is acceptable, police that do nothing is acceptable, an incompetent puppet PM is acceptable. But fixing it is not.

it is nit the concepts that are wrong, its the way so called democracy is handled. It is done with direct monetary bribing and intimidation so that is what is wrong.

I agree all agencies should be voted for but look how they are voted in and how they are manipulated by yinglucks government?

That is wrong.

When are people going to understand that apples are lemons here. At least in western Democratic society, the voters are more educated and not desperate to,live to be bought for 1000 baht.

But will it change? Not in this century

"Many hearts go out to Yingluck, the country's first woman prime minister...." Madam PM has been a Prime Minister in title only, her inaction and luck of decision over the years has not been that of a true PM. Maybe need to amend the title to first woman PM puppet.

lucky there is no sharks law. Off goes her hands for dipping too much in the till

The senate (house of lords) in England is not elected. I think most western countries, the biggest English speaking ones anyway, follow British style democracy and principles.

Eat that

Thailand is moving to a violent outburst that will give Suthep and his PDRC the bloodbath they so want. Thing is, it will be the PDRC that will suffer casualties as the public turns on it. Yingluck's party may be unpopular with some, but she is still popular and there is a protective sentiment towards her.

Red wet dreams. There is not going to be a civil war or great 51% majority democratically exterminating the other 49%. Reason, Thai have long been one people in spite of what the red war lord of Dubai tries to teach. It is not Thai style.

what bloodbath??? More blood for soups?

Or are you getting your 50 odd followers who, piiiss in your pocket here to wave their empty beer bottles??

It should be already clear that intimidation of the judicial process is completely unacceptable. The open season approach by the Yingluck administration, CAPO, Pheu Thai, and the UDD is completely off the charts. At best it is an unseemly display and at worst it interferes with the process. People who condone it haven't the slightest conception of what is acceptable in their own countries.

You need to pull your head out of the sand kiddo.

I think you do.The post sums up proxy Yingluck and her corrupt agencies behind her.
