Which airlines have an extra allowance for your golf bag? How much does it cost if you end up having to pay for your bag? Are there any tips or suggested ways of handling travel with golf equipment that can make it easier?

I travelled to Australia-Indonesia-Myanmar with my golfbag.

Never paid anything extra.

Flew with Thai and Quantas.

Golf bags were packed in hardcases.( and filled up with Thai sausages!!!)

In Jakarta they were opened by customs,but when I told them it was pig sausages on top,they were closed inmediately )
