The beautiful document with the Thai style frame has very little details on it. It's more like a souvenir, something you can put on a wall. (koh roh 2: ใบสำคัญการสมรส (คร.2))

The other document has all details about the marriage (witnesses, names and birth dates, names of father/mother, ...). It's a copy of the marriage registration book they keep in the city hall. (koh roh 3: ใบทะเบียนสมรส (คร.3))

Sorry, David pointed out to me the first one is คร.3 and the second document I describe is คร.2. I got them mixed up.
