It's more like a souvenir, something you can put on a wall. (koh roh 2: ใบสำคัญการสมรส (คร.2)) The other document has all details about the marriage (witnesses, names and birth dates, names of father/mother, ...). It's a copy of the marriage registration book they keep in the city hall.
