That must be one of the Bangkok immigration offices because they are only ones that can do it.

Is a copy of the affirmation of permit to marry you gave to the Amphoe when you got married on the list?

They may not require the map or photos for the change of visa status. But you will need them when you do the extension of stay.

They map you can do at immigration they have a form for that.

I would take some photos of you and the wife in and around the house with one them below or beside the house (or room) number and print them out just in case they do want them.

Cheers, How long does it take from changing visa to applying for one year extension of stay, and how long do I get when I change visa from tourist to Non Immigrant

You will get a 90 day entry from the date you apply for the change. But you will more than likely get a under consideration stamp with a report back date 15 days from when you apply. On that date they will do the visa/entry and permit to stay stamp then dated from the date you applied.

You then can then do the extension during the last 45 days of that entry.

You will not have a visa for more than a few seconds when you apply for the change of visa status. You will have a 90 day permit to stay after that.

After you get the extension of stay you can apply for a re-entry permit if you want to travel. A single re-entry permit is 1000 baht a multiple is 3800 baht.

You could also could get a single re-entry permit for the 90 entry also if you needed to travel before you apply for your extension.

Thanks again,I only deposited the 400,000 baht into my bank about 4 weeks ago, immigration told me not to worry and come back the 9th may,15 days before my 30 extension runs out,so that means money will only have been in bank aprox 6 weeks

For a conversion the money must be in the bank, but does not have to be seasoned yet.

You should have proof the money came from abroad.

They didn't ask for proof just a letter from bank to say it's there and a up to date printed bank book
