Bangkok Immigration closed 9th of May and 13th of May

Coming Friday Bangkok Immigration will be closed due to the Royal Ploughing Ceremony. I believe this is normal only a day government offices in Bangkok are closed, outside of Bangkok not.

Immigration will be closed nation wide on Tuesday the 13thfor the celebration of VisakHa Bucha Day.

I'm waiting for word on my extension request, the temp stamp runs out on the 9th. My wife called this morning, and was told no word yet. She mentioned about the 9th and was told no problem. So if they don't call tomorrow, should I go see them in the afternoon?

I would just call them to see if it is completed yet. You could wait till Monday to go in with out a problem. The report back date is just that it does not mean you are on overstay when it runs out.
