did these red shirt people get paid for there rice ,my old grandmother still waiting ?

A 100,000 LOL, there will more porta potties than marchers

Their last rally was quoted as 80,000 in the BP. That was without any real reason. If the government they elected is turfed out by the notoriously biased Constitutional Court they will really have something to rally about. Over 100,000 is certainly not an unrealistic figure.

Just imagine how many would be storming into Bangkok if Abhisit's or Suthep's plans (basically same thing) got enacted.

Rice planting season coming up right? Turnout will be light.

Very true, and whilst i don't know about other provinces here in Petchabun[central, north],we have had very good rains almost everyday since songkran, the paddys are full of water and planting has begun, also to be honest i told my wife about all this ,she could not give two hoots what is going on.

Not really gonna miss the gang of 10, time for them to use their back up passports(ie NZ) and skedaddle.

I hope that Yinluck is not removed. I doubt if the people of Thailand will stand by and watch another elected government fall to the Bangkok elite.

Jeez, some of you are brainwashed.A corrupt PM may be removed by the highest court in the land. The caretaker govt.will still be there, with a new family member or lakey approved as PM by a convicted crim.

sathorn road will be a shooting gallery again very soon . violence will erupt all over town at a silent coup .

some have promised a situation similar to that in the south with bombs going off

Redshirt activists will not accept a guilty verdict, declared Anurat Thinnarat, the chairperson of northeastern Thailand’s chapter of the pro-government United Front of Democracy Against Dictatorship

The irony.

Start the long march, red fools.

Your Queen has been dethroned, along with the Court Jesters.

Just read, she has already been removed along with a few other nutters. Let the fireworks begin

Shooting and bombs in the name of democracy, I guess you mean?

Don't you know k. Jatuporn has said his battle will be peaceful, non-violent?

I really hope that the red shirts succeed. This group is the best hope for Thailand because it is the main force standing up to the anti-democractic crooks, the PDRC and Abhisit. If Yingluck is removed by the ammart court and then Abhisit/Suthep manage to appoint a puppet prime minister in her place, I know that the international community will call foul. The red shirts, I hope, will organise a campaign of civil disobedience, because the removal of a democratically elected PM means that democracy has been stolen. The ammart in Thailand really must be defeated if Thailand is to develop into a modern society.

55555,another brainwashed soul.I dont know what to say to your comments except you better study recent history a bit better.

BKK will get like Beirut in the bad old days ,shame

Go for it Anteater, don't let facts get in the way of opinions

BKK will get like Beirut in the bad old days ,shame

5 same doom and gloom posts over and over again.

maybe if you say it 1000 times it might happen..

With all the demo's,marches and the numerous public holidays

DOES any one ever do any work in this country ?

hahahahaha, yes red democracy in action once again. These idiots belong in north korea or china with their "everyone must do as we say" attitude. These people arent interested in what the laws of Thailand are, they are only concerned with what thaksin tells them and pays them to do, with any luck the army will be waiting for them with loaded weapons seeing the ptp or police will refuse to tell them not to do it. Wouldnt be surprised if there are a few grenades/bombs or shootings at the courts/judges homes tonight from these drop kicks..

Advocating violence, what an intelligent post.

Just look at his avatar, says it all. If you can't enjoy a civil war you're a loser, stay on the sidelines and watch the drama, the walloping, the heroics, the surprise on their faces when they realize that they can get shot when participating in a violent demonstration, its priceless. Thailand the eternal soap opera without a happy end.

you did mean election i presume? That reminded me of a Dorothy Parker jibe,''Ducking for apples, change one letter and that's the story of my life''

Their last rally was cancelled because they couldn't get a decent turnout for it. Threatened half a million delivered zero.

The courts aren't finished with these clowns, there's the rice scam next and another brewing over some forged documentation.

Reds will possibly bring their battle plans forward as Suthep has announced his latest final final final battle is being brought forward and will begin at at 9:09 on Friday 9th May.

A lot of Redshirt talk only...to be followed by more talk and little action.

... yes, but that little action can be in the form of a volley of hand grenades, and they have plenty.
