Corporate Expat salary expectation and taxes, benefits; oil and gas job

Hi all,

I've been approached for a job - it's a corporate executive level at the Program Management level. Basically Procurement and Construction in support of the oil and gas industry - based in Bangkok; but with regional responsibilities.

The recruiter states the number one consideration is salary. So what I'm looking for is the range I should be looking at?? What are some common beneftis: Thai taxes paid, work permit/visa handled, health insurance, accommidations, etc. This job only covers cellular phone bills and that's all (seems like small benefit).

From what I'm hearing is 125,000 baht per month is low end; with 250,000 baht at the high end. That is $50k - $100k USD. But no details on other costs.

I'd be happy to find work in Bangkok (I've had an apartment there for 10 years); so they could get me on the cheap (years ago I was a teacher for little money) - but don't want to leave too much on the table. Input from the 'sages' on Thaivisa are appreciated!!
