Sufficiency Economy were discussed in Kamphaeng Phet

The province of Kamphaeng Phet organized a conference to clarify the mechanisms of His Majesty the King’s “Sufficiency Economy”, in which Kamphaeng Phet Governor Paisarn Rattanapalop presided over the event. More than 200 people, including officials of all levels, joined in the conference.

His Majesty has introduced the Sufficiency Economy philosophy to the Thai people for over 25 years, prior to the economic crisis. Later on, His Majesty has reiterated that this philosophy is a way to solve the problem, as it advises people to lead their lives on the middle path and not to be complacent. People have to be reasonable and conscious of living sufficiently. They have to create their own immunity and use their knowledge discreetly and morally in their plans, decisions, and actions.

Thus, Kamphaeng Phet Province decided to set up this conference to underscore the importance of Sufficiency Economy. Therefore, poverty in the province would be eradicated, and people will have a better quality of life. Provincial units will also be more integrated and work together more concretely, following this meeting.
