Turns out the paratroopers were not as elite as we were led to believe.

Conor David Purcell, who claimed to have a military background, criticized the rules of engagement used by the Thai army. Jeff Savage, from the UK, was caught on video saying he was going to burn down Central World. One has to say that the usual TVF suspects, who disparage the 'uneducated' rural Thais (the 'kwai' as they call them), don't always come across as the sharpest tools in the box when it comes to recalling recent history.
