Did you first open the account in Thailand or your home country?

If I'm signed out of my iTunes account and then sign-in, it always switches me to the US iTunes store. The credit card associated with my account has a US billing address. I first opened the account while living in the UAE and continued with the same registration when I took up long-term residence in Thailand. That never has caused a problem for me.
