TheFishman1 Posted May 23, 2014 Posted May 23, 2014 Why not let True put on like movie history Etc no political stuff getting bored with this they have Thai station what happened to WWE ??? 1
bubblegum Posted May 23, 2014 Posted May 23, 2014 Still only Thai Channels here, don't they know we can look on the internet for any info we might want? Load of BS this is. No bars, no TV, no electric next? WOW what a baby boom that would bring ! 1
beautifulthailand99 Posted May 23, 2014 Posted May 23, 2014 Just download your entertainment. or even better spend your waking hours on TVF - wilfing around. Their hits must be going through the roof I'm getting occasional brief timeouts when the server load can't take the strain but otherwise holding up impressively well.
thailiketoo Posted May 23, 2014 Posted May 23, 2014 are the thai channels working now? May have to unplug and replug your box.
Torrens54 Posted May 23, 2014 Posted May 23, 2014 I hope that includes international broadcasts. I miss watching the news in air conditioned comfort. Yes, being a NEWS JUNKIE, I miss my Channel News Asia (Singapore) although I can get it via the Internet, also miss BBC World Service, Australia Network, Al Jazeera, FOX and a bunch of others. I admit, I have been known to be critical of "We TV" for all their break-downs, but to be totally without CABLE for a couple of days, is almost.............. too much to take, sob, sob! 1
edwinchester Posted May 23, 2014 Posted May 23, 2014 Practise and qualifying for the Monaco Gp today........hope they make the right decision. 1
gerry123 Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 Can I request they keep "Dance Moms" on the proscribed list? Perhaps "Duck Dynasty" while they're at it? Can I request they keep "Dance Moms" OFF the proscribed list? Perhaps "Duck Dynasty" while they're at it?
monkey4u Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 We had some tv restored last night The wife sat in front of it all day waiting for her soaps Thai's don't get angry about coup's but take away the tv
monkey4u Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 Why not let True put on like movie history Etc no political stuff getting bored with this they have Thai station what happened to WWE ??? I can just see it now The only western movie shown would be The King And I That is until the English teacher's son slaps the young Prince OOPS no more tv
appleman_thai Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 Still no channels on CTH in Yasothon..... but cant really complain too much as I have NEVER received a bill from CTH!
Emster23 Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 9 am, nothing back on local crap cable. 4 1/2 hrs to Aussie football..... "Pleeze massah, kin I hab my footy back? I be good boy"
Bcgardener Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 Setanta via True was on last night for about 20 minutes with the last 10 minutes live coverage of the Waratahs - Rebels game. Tahs won so I was happy. Couldn't care less about TV after that.
ferguston Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 Practise and qualifying for the Monaco Gp today........hope they make the right decision.Champions League final on True, start of the French Open tennis, English League playoff finals on CTH and GMM. (and the World Cup in 3 weeks).Makes the Military Junta look like a bunch of numptays. Going out today to try and buy an IPTV box. 1
kotsak Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 I hope it doesn't get worse http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/728687-thailand-live-saturday-24-may-2014/?p=7874744
johnno2 Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 i want my MTV and bbc news and CNN and setanta sports and discovery channel. i can do without the rest. 1ST State of Origin on wednesday night, go maroons. hope true is back on air by then, please Sir General 1
taony Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 the radio stations are still on true satellite. have been since the start. world service is 726. not entirely helpful, as you can get that and more online, but at least you can turn off your computer a while to listen.
TallGuyJohninBKK Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 Looks like unchanged on Happy Home Cable in BKK. All the Thai over-the-air stations including ThaiPBS HD are back on. But all the Thai cable and international channels remain off, except for a half dozen or so international entertainment channels such as Universal, CI, Animax, Sony, Syfy, etc. All the international news channels remain off -- BBC, NHK, Channel News Asia. Maybe there's some transmission/technical reason, but I just can't see how/why the military gains anything by spiking a bunch of Thai sports and music video channels.
IAMSOBAD Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 Typical Thai Thinking...go to an extreme complex solution for a simple problem. Taking away TV from the masses solves nothing...but creates anger and idol minds.
belg Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 i hope it is back before 9 pm american dad, follwed by bob's burger ...
brewsterbudgen Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 i hope it is back before 9 pm american dad, follwed by bob's burger ... Last night I missed Veep, Curb Your Enthusiasm and Flight of the Conchords on HBOS. Then this morning's baseball game on Fox Sports, with the Champions League Final and Monaco GP and French Open tennis to come. Anderson Cooper and BBC World is really no loss, but why everything else?

bdenner Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 Only getting Thai, free to air, Channel 3 up here in the North East plus a couple of obscure feeds. Just wondering if these Military people have wives and daughters who are finding life very difficult without their 'soap operas'?
