I can't believe you don't realise how much the Western leaders know about YS, Thaksin & the PTP criminals and that they are all privately cheering the Thai Army like most of the Thai people I have spoken to are I can tell that the international news blackout has succeeded in keeping you out of date with the condemnations from western leaders of the military coup and suspension of Thai people's civil liberties. No democratic nation cheers a military coup to overthorw a democraticly elected government. to do so was set a precidence and we would start seeing corrupt western governments becoming responsible for things they do Now we can not have that

pmugghc Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 A disgrace..... You guys don't get it do you....Suthep is free, the yellow shirts are all at home with there families..... When was Suthep freed? Source?
thesetat2013 Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 This is disgraceful. The shiniwatra's are not the originators of corruption in thailand. It always was and still is even down to the education system and government funcionaries. Those of you that are crowing over 'the demise of the shin clan' are misogynist to the core just like the establishment in Thailand. She may have made mistakes but that is not the point. She was no worse a premier than any others and she was democratically elected all other arguments are academic. Why are Suthep and other's charged like him not in custody? the answers clear. Corruption! What a load of toss. Ted Bundy never invented murder but does that mean he shouldn't have been punished? The fact she is a woman has nothing to do with anything, the fact she's the sister of Thaksin has everything to do with it. Thaksin was such a power hungry monster he blatantly bought himself into power and didn't care who was watching..........Ha Roi Ha Roi Ha Roi cause hundreds to lose their lives while he lived in luxury and out of harms way. He has abused Thai people to the core for his own selfish desires. How far would he have gone if he hadn't been stopped.......... PRESIDENT OF THAILAND perhaps? Perhaps he forced his sister into the position perhaps she did what she did willingly. You say we/them are misogynist which means we hate women in power and should recognise womens rights. She has every right to be thrown in jail or even be tossed out of the country the same as her brother who albeit a sorry excuse for one who is a man nonetheless.,, Look back at what has happened............Thaksin Shinawatra and his cronies were subjected to a coup...................he leaves the country and his sister takes over..........we go full circle and his sister is subjected to the same fate. To me the Thais in that party have got no bottle. They should have washed their hands of Thaksin and anyone who had anything to do with the guy and this would never have happened. The quickers the Shinawatra clan is exiled and their say in Thailand is no more the better for the country. Surely they can come up with a leader who has a brain and will of his/her own, have a proper election and bring stability back to Thailand. Dont count your chickens before they hatch!Sent from my GT-S5310 using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app
boomerangutang Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 You outside farang, you come from democracies. Why don't you call on your countries to help, instead of wasting your time in here on forums. Get in action for justice, for truth, for freedom of speach, go do it ! 'outside farang'? Just say farang. We know we will always be outsiders, even if we reside in Thailand for 90 years with family, and pay a million baht a year for expenses. 'call on my country for help?' ...to help Thailand? Oh, ok. I'll call out the US marines and Navy Seals. They should be landing in Bangkok in a day or two. Reality check: whenever Thailand gets itself in a serious problem: like taken over by Japanese 66 years ago, or all its banks failing in 1997, it immediately runs to farang to bail them out. It could run to the Chinese, but Beijing might say with a big smile: 'Sure, we'll bail you out, but we're going to put 'Autonomous Region' in front of your country name. That's ok, isn't it?' (Shinawatres and their Chinese-Thai comrades would say 'yes!' right away) 1
ATF Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 Don't trivialize Thailand's struggle for freedom from oppression, suppression and a murderous Plutocracy. You're pissing into a very big and powerful tent. Mandela's legacy is another corrupt African Country going down the pan. Gandi started a revolution over tax on salt and the American Revolution was about paying 2% tax. How much tax are American's paying now? Oh and Mugabe he's doing a great job too. I have a special place in my heart for Idi Amin though at least he cooked and ate his enemies, didn't just kill for sport.

Lupatria Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 I feel sort of sad for her in a way. Thaksin in essence forced her into this position, and then gave her skype instructions on how to loot the country. What at first seemed like power and free shopping trips abroad has now turned horribly wrong for her.. Sorry for her? It could have been worse: 1

ChrisY1 Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 Will the squareheaded criminal act to save his sister from taking his rap or will he carry on his gutless rat act? He will do nothing, except speak from afar....chastising all and sundry for the current situation.....and would not think for one minute, that he is any way at fault. Everything he has always said is that everything happening to him is politically motivated.....it's always someone elses fault....he will not return to Thailand voluntarily.....he remains a coward..... as many other Thai politicians are, that leave the country to avoid facing up to their responsibilities! His passport should be revoked and an International warrant for his arrest issued immediately. 1
empireboy Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 A disgrace and a very poor reflection on Thailand.. Yes it's tragic really. It's difficult to see a clear peaceful path forward...
fullcave Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 a disgrace...You bet it is3 to 7 days!!!I was hoping for 3 to 7 years. I love the photo though. The caption could be the General saying "This will be were you will be detained for destroying Thailand" Ohhhh accountability. The PTP's nightmare. I bet she wished she didn't hold the majority in contempt when she pushed the amnesty bill through now against the will of the majority. A disgrace is an understatement. She should at least hold her until the NACC rice scheme case is heard then she can't run away when she is found guilty and can go straight to jail. Bare-faced hypocrisy from someone who goes on forever, endlessly about the principles of democracy and appropriate process ( but apparently only believes it when it's convenient) Ahh. Don't be so hard on yourself... 1

For the financial rape of poor rice farmers just to fatten his already swollen bank accounts? For the murders of protesters, and the extra-judicial murders of thousands? If you consider those "business as usual" here, your standards are inhumanely low, your faith in the goodness of the Thai people non-existent. 1
Popular Post Mackie Posted May 24, 2014 Popular Post Posted May 24, 2014 Let's get some perspective here. The criminal actions of the deposed government are well-known to everyone in Thailand. A botched rice-scheme, a tablet for a child scheme, water management, car schemes etc...etc...The fact of the matter is that 10 billion USD (if not more) has gone from the public pursue. It's only natural to round up all the people involved and try to recover PUBLIC (TAX PAYER) MONEY, isn't it? Perhaps some of you agree with the theft on the grand scale. Rational people do not. Cry me a river. I hope to see people who committed criminals offences jailed for a long time. A crime is a crime, no matter who the criminal is. As simple as it. 3

Corruption! what is a disgrace is the way Taksin his clan and cronies have bleed Thailand dry I hope they keep her locked up and all other Shins for years. This time unlike 2006 the army has learnt a lot and unlike 2006 its all very well planned and executed. Well done and hopefully at last well rid ourselves of cancer which is taksin. GO on red shirt lovers touch titty whatever you think Remember how this started with trying to get amnesty for your hero Taksin so government has only themselves to blame. Rice scam, 1 tablet scam, car policy which was for rich (everyone we know who took it were quite rich), 2 trillion or whatever Liars thieves and if it ends with some red shirt thugs trying to cause trouble well so be it. People have had enough of your hero and i don't care how many brainwashed sheep in Issan worship Taksin. IF it takes army to stop Taksin so be it. Finally well done Suphet without you Thialand would be well on its way to a one party Taksin state Please do not spell Dr. Thaksin Shinawatra's name as 'Taksin'. Taksin was a great king who drove out the invading Burmese and unified Thailand into its present form. Please do not dishonor that king's name. Thaksin is the name of the former politician and businessman who doesn't live in Thailand because he's a convicted felon and doesn't want to serve his two year term in jail. Now that I got that out of my system, I agree with your post. Can you please explain how an ex policeman / politician can be awarded a doctors degree How much did he make Thailand pay for this 'Sam Houston State Grad Is Prime Minister of Thailand' http://www.shsu.edu/~pin_www/T@S/2001/ShinawatraFeature.html "...Thaksin earned a doctorate in criminology at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville," (Texas, USA) Famous newscaster Dan Rather is also an alumnus. Sent from my HTC One using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app Maybe it's time you got with the program. Victors write history. Look at the History of the American Revolution, it is flawed with inaccuracies. The American Civil War again flawed. “I will say then that I am not, nor ever have been in favor of bringing about in anyway the social and political equality of the white and black races – that I am not nor ever have been in favor of making voters or jurors of negroes, nor of qualifying them to hold office, nor to intermarry with white people; and I will say in addition to this that there is a physical difference between the white and black races which I believe will forever forbid the two races living together on terms of social and political equality. And inasmuch as they cannot so live, while they do remain together there must be the position of superior and inferior, and I as much as any other man am in favor of having the superior position assigned to the white race. I say upon this occasion I do not perceive that because the white man is to have the superior position the negro should be denied everything.” by: Abraham Lincoln (1809-1865) 16th US President Source: Fourth Debate with Stephen A.
