With all the crackdown on broadcasters with respect to inflammatory reporting etc, it seems odd that Khaosod is allowed to continue with its own brand of rewriting current affairs. Look at the latest item about the General's talk today: KS headline "Junta Leader Says He Will Hold Power 'Indefinitely'" - it can be found in the daily news feed here or at http://en.khaosod.co.th/detail.php?newsid=1401096098&section=11&typecate=06

Nowhere does it say anything of that sort - nowhere did the General say he will hold power indefinitely, indeed he says election will come (which is just the opposite). Pretty inflammatory if you ask me!

Maybe it's the truth and that's why they allow it. I would take the usage of the term 'indefinitely' to mean until there's time to organise a proper election.

At this stage in time who knows how long that will take ? It could take months or longer.
