May 26, 201412 yr Hello, I'm from Argentina, we have a 3 months visa on arrival. I wanted to know if I would need Educational Visa to stay in Thailand for one year or if I could just leave the country every 3 months for 1 or two days and come back to Thailand en get a new 3 month visa on arrival again? Or Should i apply for a ED visa instead? I had seen in the news that there had been a crackdown on visas but im not sure if this situation is the same for all passports. I haven't find any information on the forum regarding this matter. Thank you very much. Edited May 26, 201412 yr by thaidell
May 26, 201412 yr In the past it was possible, but there has been a recent crackdown on out and back in borders runs so IMHO it would be best if you get and ED visa.

May 26, 201412 yr You don't get a visa on arrival you get a visa exempt entry. After enrolling with in a school you will need to go out of the country to obtain a none-ed visa with paperwork from school. Then during the last 30 days of the 90 days the visa will give you on entry you will then apply for an extension of stay at immigration showing documents from school.

Can I sign up to the school after my first three month tourist visa? Thank you
May 26, 201412 yr You do not have tourist visa. You have a 90 day visa exempt entry. You can enroll in a school at any time your want during your entry.
