I have an ACS policy. They are based in France. They paid up on a 27k overnight stay after dislocating my shoulder. Some initial confusion but they came through, so I guess they're okay. Rates are rising every year but less than BUPA with more coverage.

Call center sub contracted ti AXA in Bangkok so they have a 24 line for hospitals to call for approvals, very competitive premiums (BUPA Thai has a lifetime limit, this doesnt) Rates will vary depending on claims in that age group.

Everything covered 100% as the policy states, I am impressed with mine, although I only have inpatient, I have AXA PA for outpatient accidents stuff which has paid for itself.

What is the point of insurance when once life time has ended?

if you get a 5 million baht policy with Bupa Thai for example, the policy has a limit of 5 million over its lifetime, once you hit that mark no more cover.
