The Democrat Party will meet with ASEAN ambassadors today

The Democrat Party will hold a meeting with ambassadors of ASEAN members to strengthen their relations today.

Democrat spokesman Ong-art Klampaiboon (องอาจ คล้ามไพบูลย์) said party executives and the ambassadors will also discuss policies that would generate maximum benefits for the people.

Myanmar was the only country which declined the invitation, Mr. Ong-art said.

Seems like their time would be better spent in the rural regions of Thailand convincing the voting public that the Democrats actually care for the rural poor, and won’t go running back to BKK as soon as the voting is over - like so many elections gone by.
