Please watch it and listen to what she's saying. I see a similarity to Isaan farmers, who only have the opportunity to watch the daily soap operas about the rich guys, with big cars, houses, guns and more.

Exactly these people are part of the chain who do not destroy our environment, even if some posters might think some villagers wanna kill them by producing coal.

Everyone wants a better life and to make a profit, any move by governments against this natural human urge is either doomed to fail or will lead to a very oppressive state.

I think it's very biaised to say they do it for western profit, it's just how the economy functions as a consequence of welfare/social policies in western countries, which inflate demand by distributing money.

But I concur with you that a lot of energy, work and pollution is wasted because of inflated demand and consumerism, which is promoted by western governments just to keep the VAT carousel spinning and to try to support the local industries (which eventually fails).

Therefore I also propose to introduce a minimum legal interest rate of 5% and to bind currency value to a basket of physical goods (zero inflation) - this should halt debt-fueled consumerism in its tracks and also ensure it is not financed by inflation.

I agreed, It is all to do with profit margins! Any successful business in the USA would deem it stupid to produce the goods in USA as there profit would decrease massively.

True, very true in ways, there are many sides to this coin.

I also don't agreed with the welfare for nothing, In my country there are many who have never worked a day in their life and expect everything on a plate for them, and their still not happy. Also the many that are scamming the system dry while good honest people are working there asses of you pay the taxes to support them.

And that's what Capitalism thrives on,cheapness in production = higher profits, so why should they build new factories to produce something which will cost more??? to give jobs to westerners,who will want higher pay???

Europe, as well as the States are facing huge problems now.More immigrants joining in the social system let's say in Germany, but China's producing it much cheaper.

Then you would have to deny the privilege to all those who haven't been schooled in the various type's of governments and financial systems, in some depth and who aren't up to speed on world current event's. That would leave a very small pool of qualified voters. I agree with the sentiment in general, but have no solution to the issue. The world is just to big and complex anymore.
