Travelling during curfew

Featured Replies

In 7 days I have to travel by car during curfew hours from Pattaya to Suvarnabhumi airport. Has anybody had experience of this. My taxi driver said "no problem".

It's well documented that as long as you are carrying travel documents and passport you should fine.

I thought the curfew was done in Pattaya. Surely between there and the airport there would be no problem.

I think in most areas when the curfew was in force there were little or no arrests for curfew violations but people were subject to "Stop & Search" which often lead to arrests for other wrong doings.

But yes in reply to the OP's question, no problem at this time, but do keep an eye on the situation especially if there is any unrest as this could lead to a crackdown and re imposing of the curfew.
