June 12, 201411 yr I was looking to buy spring onion (scallions, table onions) seeds. Was wondering the best places to source these items. If there are places that sell them sprouted, that would be great also. Here is a sample picture of what spring onion looks like when it is big. I've tried replanting cut off spring onion bulbs from the market, but have had mixed results with it. So now I want to try from a new seed.

June 12, 201411 yr I can also accept the 'sets' or the seeds that have been partially sprouted. I don't know Chumpon enough to know where exactly to go, but generally farm supply stores, some general stores or some nurseries sell flower or veggie seeds... Places to avoid are those that have their display racks sitting outside in the sun! The seed will be cooked...I have never seen starter seedlings being sold in Thailand. If you do find a source check dates on seed packets... to make sure they are current. Perhaps someone else will know a store.... but you are supposed to be the Chumpon expert! Good luck!
June 12, 201411 yr Hello All, if you would have done a forum or google search for green onions, you would have come up with a thread on the farming forum about G-O seeds. I got the packet of seed in a ag store down town Korat, the seed Co. has an office in CM. Show a picture to guy in an ag shop and ask for them. rice555
